We are excited to announce that Mikalyn got a score of 26 on the ACT. The reading part of the test was scored at 31! She wants to take it again to try to bring up her math score and hopefully get another point or two on the composite score. Pepper was by her side to help her study over the years. Thanks Pepper!
Just more more announcement - Mikalyn was on a team for the high school knowledge bowl contest. Her team took second place after competing and winning every other team all week long. The final match was against a team that had one of her very good friends on it - she happens to be the valedictorian for the year and it was fun to find out that she and Mikalyn are related (through the Lay side of the fam).
I LOVE those pictures. And CONGRATULATIONS Mikee for using those brains! Although if we all had pepper to study with i think we could have pulled some better scores too. Thanks for keeping us posted mom!

Way to go Mikee!!!! That is sooo cool! And the pictures are perfect. Pepper should get some sort of payment for tutoring, though. And the rest of our scores should be weighted since we had no such tutoring :)
