Interview Update

I thought I would update y'all on how the interview went.  We wont know for a couple of weeks whether or not Jake got the promotion, but thanks to your prayers and Jake's giant brain, he had a successful interview.  One of the interviewers (also one of his colleagues) told him afterwords that he was very disappointed.  He was hoping to challenge Jake, make him struggle, and ultimately pretty much make him cry.  He was disappointed that Jake had done so well (although, he did leave wanting to cry... but they didn't know that). Of course, he did struggle with some of the technical questions and there is a lot for him to learn (one guy told him flat out that he answered a question completely wrong).

The point is, Jake learned how he can better prepare for the position and he made a good impression, which is exactly what we were going for.  So thank you all so much for your support, love and faithful prayers. Isn't it great that we can still help and support each other even though we are so far away (through prayer)? Yet another great use for the blog. We will let you know if he gets the position, but as for now, the hard part is over. Few!!!
